The Helen Knoll Foundation Joins Forces with GrassrootsHealth to Combat Vitamin D Deficiency and

San Diego, CA The Helen Knoll Foundation is thrilled to announce its partnership with GrassrootsHealth Nutrient Research Institute in a powerful collaboration to tackle the global vitamin D deficiency epidemic. Together, they are committed to educating, advocating, and advancing the science of vitamin D testing and treatment to improve health outcomes worldwide.

GrassrootsHealth, a leading nonprofit public health research organization, has been at the forefront of vitamin D research and advocacy. With a focus on evidence-based education, citizen science, and global health, GrassrootsHealth empowers individuals and healthcare providers to make informed decisions that transform the landscape of health and wellness. By providing essential resources and access to groundbreaking studies, they have mobilized a movement of change that is making a measurable impact on the public’s health.

Led by a distinguished panel of 48 senior vitamin D researchers from around the globe, GrassrootsHealth is pioneering the D*action field trial – the world’s largest public health intervention study aimed at ending vitamin D deficiency and improving health outcomes for individuals worldwide.

“GrassrootsHealth is excited to partner with the Helen Knoll Foundation to spread awareness not just about the importance of vitamin D, but what to DO using that information. Optimizing vitamin D levels by determining an individual’s personalized dose is safe, easy, inexpensive, and quite possibly the most impactful step anyone can take towards improving their overall health while reducing their risk of many diseases, including multiple cancers and most especially breast cancer.”

Jen Aliano, MS – GrassrootsHealth Nutrient Research Institute “Nearly half of cancer of the breast and advanced or fatal cases are preventable with modest vitamin D3 and calcium supplementation. This is far greater than the attempt to prevent breast cancer with universal mammography every 2 years, which is about a 15 percent maximum reduction in incidence.”
